What I Would Like To Do In Five Years Time.

Waste all of my life and die young. Well, that is not quite an striking ending for me. First and foremost, I would like to complete my Diploma in Culinary Arts and achieve certificate on it which will be around 2 years to go.

Next, I plan to perk up my skills first by searching for career that fit the requirement of a cordon bleu chef. I’m going to look for a job around my playground, Kuala Lumpur and Shah Alam even though the war for job there is quite high. I should bear in mind that if I work at the hotel’s kitchen section, my income is not good enough. Therefore, I must work hard as a Commis 3 Chef into a high rank chef, maybe a Senior Sous Chef. Insya’Allah if I work hard enough maybe the title “Executive Chef” awaits me. Hehehe...

After that, I would like to continue my study in degree at UiTM (UiTM in my heart, what can I say?). If my earning from the past exceeds my expectation, Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts School is where I’m heading. I thought if I end up up-side-down when working at the hotel, I plan to complete my degree and dream to become a lecturer in culinary arts course. Some of my lecturer says if we work at the hotel, our salary can even survive in this far above the ground economy pace.

Here Come The Sun

It’s a shadowy day for me. The damp atmosphere from the cold raining day with no glare today. Wondering....the question “why?” keeps walking all the way through my mind. “Why...why do I exist to this malicious world?”,“ Why me?”, “Why here?”,”Why them?”......”Why....?”

Back to couple of hours before, the day just great. Wake up at midday with this miserable hair and have a walk to the bathroom. Watch my face; patch up this hair and straight to the dining hall. Walking downs the stairs; whistling ‘Here Come The Sun’ by The Beatles... plan for a beautiful day today.

Well everything that we’ve plans not always come and hold together. I still remember every single heart-scattered word that my chum says when we have lunch together. I don’t care about what he about to say in the first place, because he already gave a “blinking red light” as a sign of warning and I might feel a sting to my heart.

After hearing his words about someone, just like a lightning strike hardly on me. Stop for a moment; just take a deep lungful of air. Not working for me. My hands feel like to beat something hard because my hearts undergo very dreadful experience. I’m not round the bend to my friend, just uncomfortable with the news that he delivers.

I just keep myself serene, remember to the One. Decide to ride my motorbike and have a stop near the beach, to clear my mind...to forget everything...to remember nothing. 130km/h....ride the motorbike swiftly at the hectic traffic, ignore my own life...a couple of tears shed through my cheek and just hope my friend that ride with me doesn’t noticed it.

At the beach, we just settle down, have a rest and feel the brittleness of the sand at our feet. I reach my mobile phone on my jean’s pocket and start to cross out some “unfavourable memory”. While try to calm myself with the breeze, my view focus on three kids playing near the shore. They remind me about my nieces that always light-up my day. These kids just happen to lessen my sombreness.

After hanging at the beach, I return to my college. I can’t stop the adrenaline, to heart-rending. My closet just has to strength-up and turns into a punching bag. Keep beating the closet until I can’t feel my right hand, have a look...and my hand already bleeding in red. Tears start to accompany me.

The history come through my mind, I remember my fellow friends that I have here. Well now on they don’t seem to be one. Just an oath to myself, “I give 3 chances to my friends”. Last time, they used 2 of the chances and continue wasting it. Now they are out of it. I had enough. Suppose a friend take care our feeling and do nothing worst. I’m tired being someone else, pretend to be someone who not me. I’m not a good nor bright person back in the past...

Done with the past, with “these” conditions, I head to the bathroom and have a long shower to cool myself down. Facing my own Achilles’ heel, can’t control my temper. The point in time on my pc is already 1 in the morning and it is Sunday 8th of March.

I just hope when I lay down on my bed, I able to close my eyes and dead to the world. Able to forget everything that I’ve been through...stop thinking about my friends...disregard about someone. But the words of someone that always beside me on the times of yore running in my mind. “Forgive is a noble thing to do” she told me. Oh yes!...forgive, the only word that kill a man’s ego. I forgive them...I forgive......I forgive everyone... I don’t know why I wrote this and post on my blog. This could be the last of....

My Dream Women.

I don’t know what to write on this. Well for starter, each person has an important person to care for someday, same goes to me. I’m just a straightforward person, what I look on my dream girl is not on the outside but on the inside.

Lovely lips, just what the doctor ordered body and the look that glow like a full moon, sorry to say that is not the type of dream girl I’m looking for. Faithful to Allah, love and caring, know how to take care of me, respect my family especially my sisters and last but not least knows how to cook that are the traits that I am seek on my dream girl.

I don’t know whether I’m too fussy when choosing the right girl. If match up me to Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt of course they are far more wealth and good-looking than me, compare me to my cat of course my cat look adorable than me and lastly, measure up me to my sisters, without doubt I’m the chef of the house. Hahahaha...

What is The Best Thing That has Ever Happened to My Life

Oh my, this is the tough one. What is the best thing that has ever happen to my life? Well, since I have a hard time to memorize my past, I would say that the paramount thing that has ever happen to my life is to continue my study at UiTM Terengganu.

I was so confuse when my father informs me that I have been accepted to further my study at UiTMT. That time I was dead to the world at my room. My father wakes me up and told me that he have checked my online application to apply for the IPTA. UiTMT offers me to continue my study in Diploma Culinary Arts. That time I was so sleepy and whatever word that my father said seems like nothing.

That evening, my father asks me to recheck my application. Alhamdullilah, thankful to Allah S.W.T, I found out that I successfully accepted to continue my study in Diploma Culinary Arts at UiTMT. I was so in high spirits that time and so was my father. Who is not happy if their own children is going to institution of higher education. Even though culinary art are not my first preference, I really enjoy cooking so much. Nothing can stop me from going to my kitchen and cook like a chef except cockroach. Hahahaha = )

Throughout my study at this beautiful university, I observe that the scene is so near to the beach. It is like a paradise for those who study here. I also meet so many buddy, Aiman, Adhwa, Wany, Eryn, Faiz, Nadiah, Kak Jiha, Bear, Kak Long, Nadiah, Andrianne, Abun and a lot more. The lecturer here very kind and friendly.

During my first semester, many up and down happen to me. For me, this is the first time I stay far away from my family and my cat. All the experience that I gain has trained me to become a better person. At this semester also, I have achieve quite good result in my examination. My name is on the dean list because my pointer is above 3.5 . My father is so proud of me and my sisters very surprise about the result that I get because in the past, I really to study even to open and read books. Well, the past is the past. What we focus is on the present.

What I Would Like to Change About Myself?

My hair is short and neat, so does my fingernails and I brushed my teeth every day. Just wondering, what I would like to change about myself?

First and foremost, I would try my best to wake up early and perform my Subuh prayer. It’s kind of hard for boys like us to wake up early. My mobile phones alarm and my clock alarm seems does not working for me. Whenever the alarm ring, I just wake up and switched of the alarm and continue back my sleeping. Thank goodness I have a responsible friend who sometime knocks on my door and wakes me up.

Next, I would like to change my way of study. Every time a test or quiz draws near, I will do my revision and study last minute. Additionally, I really enjoy studying with a pillow, laying on my bed and wondering about something that does not include in my study. That the dilemma that I faced which is day dreaming.

Beside that, I would try my best to be punctual in attending all the class. In a nutshell, I hope I can manage myself to change my past behaviour. For instance, I really hope if my friend can lend a hand for me to be a better man.

How Do I Spend My Holiday

How I spend my holiday? What keeps coming and wondering on my mind is how the holiday will spend me? Just kidding. Well as far as I remember, all UiTM students start their Chinese New Year Holiday at 23rd January and they all will go back to their beloved hometown. Who will not miss their hometown? The comfortable bed, fluffy pillows, hot water bath, and our parents. For me, I have to postpone my holiday, sell back my bus ticket because I have to stay back.

The reason I need to stay at UiTM because I have to participate in the Battle of The Band (Percussion Brassband) this March at Johor. I have to attend the band training from 23rd till 27th January. Since so little people stay at College Gemia, I packed my stuff and straight went to Esan’s room at College Tenggol (B) . Esan is my friend in Brassband. After the Friday prayer, I went to the stadium to see the Brassband juniors that attended for the Brassband Intensive for the new intake. Around 4 o’clock, I borrowed Yus’s (my friend) motorcycle to go back at College Tenggol (B) to take a quick bath. While I was riding the motorcycle, before reaching the bridge I could not control the motorcycle and fell. I suffer some minor injuries on my left hand, chest and left leg.
During my stays at UiTM, I have to teach my Brassband juniors how to play trumpet. Izzy, senior at Brassband asked me a favour to help guided the junior on how to play trumpet. Trumpet is a music instrument that groups in the upper brass category and the people who play trumpet is called trumpeter. There are two types of trumpet which is B Flat Trumpet and Cornett. I have taught my juniors how to play songs such as “Hormat Panglima”, “Putri Bersiram”, “NegaraKu”, and “When The Saints”.

On Sunday afternoon, I went to town to buy ticket to Kuala Lumpur. The ticket on 27th January has already been sold out so I bought the ticket on 26th January. It is kind of hard for me to leave my trumpeter juniors early. After asking permission from Izzy and the Drum Major, Elfi, I went back to my hometown on 26th January (Monday). I arrived safely at Kuala Lumpur 4a.m on Tuesday even after the bus that I took have some technical problem at Kuantan around 12.30a.m and have to wait around one hour to get a new bus.

My dad picked me up at Hentian Putra bus station and went straight home. After reaching home, I went to my bedroom and continue sleeping. I woke up around 2 p.m. That night me and my dad went to Jusco to make my new spectacles because my old spectacles broke into two pieces.

On Thursday, I , Iman, Syafiq, Adip ( Syafiq’s friend), and Nurul ( Iman’s friend) together went to Pavillion at Bukit Bintang to watch movie. After watching the movie, we went for some shopping. That night I, Iman and Nurul went to NZ restaurant at Wangsa Maju to have our dinner. I told Iman and Nurul that I have to go back home early because my bus to Dungun is on Friday noon.

On Friday, I took a cab to Hentian Putra bus station since my dad had to send my sister back to UiTM Malacca. I arrived at UiTM Dungun at 6 p.m. Around 8 p.m Dewi called and invited me for dinner with Atul, Izati, Mareena, Wany, and Jasmini at Teluk Gadung.

Well that are as far as I can remember on how I spend my holiday not because of I suffer a short-term memory lost. It is not much but for me, it is quite meaningful and fun. At least I released some stress by having some holiday sunlight.

My Experience Being a UiTMT Student for One Semester

It’s like a curse to me. Been sent to Dungun to continue my study instead of sending me somewhere else near to my hometown, the metropolitan Kuala Lumpur. I wonder, why Dungun? Why not Machang, Kelantan?. If I were at Machang, I will be with my old school friends doing what we enjoy most which is making trouble.

Well there is a lot of thing that I've experienced being a UiTM Terengganu student. For an old veteran, they quite proud if their children or grandchildren succeed in their education life and further their study at the university. During my first week at UiTMT, all student have to attend the MMS(Minggu Mesra Siswa) session to avoid the culture shock that we might faced here.

That time I still remember the OC's have to wake us up for the morning prayer, have to queue and wait for turn to use the washroom and punished if we were late. After the MMS ends we began our class accordingly. At class , I get to know some new friends from other state such as Kelatan,Terengganu and Sarawak.

During my time here, me and my friends spent our free time hanging around at the beach and visit the night market at Dungun. We faced a lot of ups and down here too. Some of our friends have to quit because of family matter.

University education system is quite complicated. We have to sit for a lot of test and final exam. But thankfully I passed with flying colour. So far, it’s quite a wonderful life experience that I ever have.
